Draft for review. This page has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and is not final.

Privacy Policy

This draft outlines how VibeQR intends to handle personal data. It will be finalised with legal counsel, including review against India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act and its rules, before launch.

What we collect

Your email address to sign you in, and the profile details you choose to add to your card. Each contact field has its own public or private setting. Private fields are never shown on your public card, in downloaded contact files, or in link previews.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your personal data. We don’t require the people you share your card with to create an account or install an app.

Link previews and search engines

When you share your card’s link, apps such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, iMessage and Slack may show a preview with your name, title, company and — if you allow it — your photo. These are the same details that are already public on your card. Those apps fetch the preview from us and may keep their own copy, which we can’t delete; unpublishing your card stops new previews. You can turn your photo off in previews, and you can hide your card from search engines while still sharing it by link or QR code.

Marketing emails

Product updates are opt-in only and unchecked by default. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Your choices

You can unpublish your card instantly, and request export or deletion of your account and data.
